Fall Quarter 2016

Fall Quarter this year was exciting for all the Kappa Delta’s residing at the white house on 17th. It started off with an incredible week of recruitment that led to 36 baby KDs, excited as can be. Bid Day, with the theme as Star Wars, left KDs new and old dancing out in front of their house until everyone else had gone inside. The quarter proceeded to be filled with many Dawg Saturdays, sisterhoods to the pumpkin patch, and best of all, Big-Little reveal. Big-Little reveals really connected the PC 16 and PC 15s and allowed the youngest of KDs to really feel at home at KD. From recruitment to Greek Fam, Fall Quarter was a hit over at Kappa Delta.

Winter Quarter 2017

Winter Quarter consisted of great fun, despite the dreariness of Seattle. Shamrock Shootout, one of our main philanthropy event drew huge attention from the Greek Community and the UW alike. The event took place over three days which consisted of 22 teams of boys paying to play each other in basketball. ¬†We ended up raising $2,000 to be donated to Seattle Children’s Hospital! Other highlights of Winter Quarter included a snow storm during finals week that sent everyone outside to dance around in the beautiful falling snow. The quarter mainly, however, consisted of mostly of good times spent in the House, really getting to know each other in a place of safety, away from the cold and rain.

Spring Quarter 2017

Spring Quarter has already been a blast! The sunshine cures everyone their winter blues and the KDs have been spending time picnicking at Gas Works Park, traveling around, and most notably, putting on their Annual Kappa Delta “Reach for the Stars” Auction. The Auction was a huge success, raising upwards of 100,000 dollars that go right to Seattle Children’s Hospital for outreach programs. KDs continue into the sunshine as the school year comes to a close…
